Kenny Omega Unveils His Favorite Wrestler of All Time

Kenny Omega is one of the top players in AEW, and there are still quite a few dream matches fans want to see him compete in and many wrestlers he respects. In fact, Omega has now revealed his favorite wrestler of all time.

During a Twitch stream on Friday night, Kenny Omega expressed his admiration for Kurt Angle, naming him as his favorite wrestler of all time and hailing him as the most complete wrestler ever. Omega lauded Angle for his exceptional in-ring abilities and also for his willingness to embrace comedic and eccentric elements in his character portrayal on television.

Omega expressed his deep respect for Angle’s versatility, noting that as an athlete himself, he looks up to Angle as someone who can seamlessly adapt to and excel in various wrestling styles. Additionally, Omega appreciates Angle’s fearlessness in embracing the lighter and more comedic aspects of wrestling, which resonates with his own approach to the sport.

”I do think that Kurt Angle is the greatest – I can’t even say just in-ring, for me he’s the most complete wrestler of all time. He’s my favorite. He’s my go-to guy to study, for me being an athletic guy that wants to be able to mesh well and complement every wrestling style. But also not – I’m also, of course, anyone who’s familiar with me here in chat, I’m not afraid to embarrass myself or do silly things. And that’s what I loved a lot about what Kurt did on TV.”

Kurt Angle took to Twitter and commented on a clip of Kenny Omega praising the WWE Hall of Famer, as he also gave The Best Bout Machine a lot of respect.

”Much respect Kenny. Hope to meet you one day!! #itstrue”

Omega will likely return to AEW television soon, as the company clearly have big plans for him. Nonetheless, it is great to see the two professional wrestlers sharing respect with each other and fans appreciated it as well.
