Recent headlines have been dominated by allegations against former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon, implicating him in a lawsuit alleging involvement in sex trafficking, unauthorized sharing of nude photos and explicit videos of Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, among other accusations.

The lawsuit also implicates the company itself and former WWE Executive John Laurinaitis. A statement from Laurinaitis’s lawyer emphasized his denial of the allegations and his intention to vigorously defend himself against what they termed a misguided complaint.

The lawyer asserted Laurinaitis’s innocence, portraying him as a victim rather than a perpetrator and expressing confidence that the truth will prevail. Court documents obtained by Pwinsider reveal that Laurinaitis has taken steps to address the lawsuit, filing a waiver of service on March 20 with the United States District Court of Connecticut.

This action indicates his acknowledgment of the lawsuit filed by Grant and others without requiring formal service. Laurinaitis has committed to responding within the specified timeframe, signaling his readiness to address the allegations laid against him.
