Dakota Kai Reveals Surprising Name For WrestleMania Showdown

Dakota Kai has proven to be a highly smart and captivating individual on WWE’s television programming who managed to stay relevant and present onscreen despite suffering from a devastating injury last year.

Much like every superstar in the locker room, Dakota also has a pick for a one-on-one dream showdown at the Grandest Stage of them all, WrestleMania, but it would come as a surprise to many following recent events.

During a recent interview with 97.7 QLZ, Dakota Kai stated that she would like to face Bayley in a huge showdown at WrestleMania, despite already battling her in a singles bout last week itself on SmackDown.

“I know we just had a match on Friday, but Bayley has been part of my wrestling career, even before I was with the company, we’ve known each other for ten years. She’s had a big part to play, obviously, with my time in the company and my coming back. I think there is a lot of history there and it would be really special for us to have that moment. It could be any capacity. If it was WrestleMania, that would be insane, but anything at all, that would be a really special fairytale story for us. Our paths are entwined, we’re gonna have to do it at some point.”

On the March 1st edition of Friday Night SmackDown, a dramatic turn unfolded as Dakota Kai and Bayley, once allies, teamed up against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane. While initially appearing to be a formidable duo, the match took a surprising twist during its climax, as Dakota Kai shocked everyone by betraying Bayley and aligning herself with Damage CTRL.

Moreover, as mentioned, Bayley and Dakota went head-to-head against each other on SmackDown last week. The match ended in a disqualification win for The Role Model as she once again found herself outnumbered by Damage CTRL.
