Bayley was under the impression that she had an ally in Dakota Kai to combat the forces of IYO Sky and the Kabuki Warriors on the road to WrestleMania 40. However, it all turned out to be nothing but a big ruse planned by her foes.

Following the events of last week’s SmackDown where Dakota Kai was supposedly jumped by IYO Sky and her cohorts, she and Bayley had aligned together to take them out for good measure.

The duo competed against the WWE Women’s tag team champions, Asuka and Kairi Sani on tonight’s edition of SmackDown in Glendale, Arizona. The momentum had been on Bayley and Dakota’s side during the bout who looked to vanquish their former friends.

However, during the closing moments of the match, Bayley was inches away from tagging in Dakota, not before she withdrew herself from the apron and revealed that her true allegiance was not for The Role Model, but for her Damage CTRL members.

Witnessing the treacherous betrayal, Bayley rushed out of the ring to go right after Dakota but found herself outnumbered by her enemies as the road to WrestleMania 40 becomes even more turbulent and difficult for her to survive now.
