Tony Khan Envisions Mercedes Mone As The Future Face Of AEW

Tony Khan has been sending huge shockwaves across the wrestling business, signing some of the best and world-class in-ring talents, with the latest addition being the incomparable and captivating Mercedes Mone.

The CEO of Women’s Wrestling arrived on the AEW landscape at Big Business last week in grand fashion and made it clear that she intended to take things to global level for the Jacksonville-based promotion. Moreover, she even closed out the show assisting the same woman against whom she suffered a career-threatening injury last May, Willow Nightingale.

Moreover, Mercedes’ debut already garnered some big business on her first night in AEW, whilst rumored to have made history of her own by becoming the highest-paid female star in professional wrestling.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan seems to have all the high praises for perhaps, one of the biggest signees of his company. During recent appearance on NBC Boston, Khan endorsed Mercedes as one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, while envisioning her as the future face of AEW.

Not only is she going to come in as one of the faces of AEW, one of the top stars, but she’s also one of the best wrestlers, one of the most charismatic people, somebody who loves wrestling. That’s what we’re all about in AEW and that’s why Mercedes is perfect to be the face of AEW.”

Mercedes Mone is set to appear on this week’s edition of Dynamite in an in-ring segment to shed light on her future plans in AEW. With The Almighty of the promotion herself looking to position Mercedes in the top spot, the run of the former WWE Women’s champion in a completely new battlefield would surely be a must-see experience.
