Cody Rhodes’ Surprise Gesture After 3/15 WWE SmackDown Leaves Fans Astonished

The SmackDown episode tonight, live from FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee, kicked off with an iconic segment featuring The Rock and concluded with a customary post-show ritual led by Cody Rhodes as he paves his way to WrestleMania.

The Rock Concert made triumphant return as the People’s Champion regaled the WWE Universe with witty jabs aimed at Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. In a bold move, he even involved Rhodes’ mother, with Stardust’s image prominently featured on stage.

Not stopping there, The Great One didn’t hold back on the “Cody Crybabies” and delivered cutting insults worldwide. Following the concert, he turned his attention to Rhodes’ recent slap and ridiculed Rhodes’ interview with Michael Cole on RAW.

After Friday Night SmackDown went off the air, Cody Rhodes squared off against Drew McIntyre in a singles match. He would put The Scottish Warrior through a table for the win. Afterwards, he gifted pieces of a broken table to a fan for good measure.

We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Cody Rhodes’ feud with The Bloodline in the coming weeks, as he is set for face-to-face with Roman Reigns on next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
