Released WWE Star Discloses Purpose Behind Backstage Appearance at 3/11 RAW

Top Dolla was released from his WWE contract last year, marking the second time he was let go. Taking it in stride, Dolla has remained active in the pro wrestling world and pursued other opportunities. Interestingly enough, he was backstage on RAW this week and has now explained the reason for his appearance.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently reported that Top Dolla was backstage for this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The reason behind his appearance was not disclosed.

Following the conclusion of Monday Night RAW, Top Dolla took to Twitter and explained why he was there in the first place. Dolla revealed that rapper Bun B invited him to come to his show at Rodeo Houston, so Dolla made his way to Houston.

Top Dolla then added that at the rental car spot, a fan informed him that RAW was in Houston, so he appeared backstage. Dolla claimed that everyone he saw was excited to see him as well.

”Bun B invited me to his show at Rodeo Houston so I pulled up to H-Town today… at the rental car spot a fan told me RAW was in Houston.”

”EVERYONE I saw was excited to see me & that felt good… 💰”

Top Dolla is now a part of TNA Wrestling and previously made his MLW debut as well. We will have to wait and see whether a WWE return is in the cards somewhere down the line.
