The stacked up match card for AEW Revolution 2024 featured some brutal action unfolding right from the start. While the biggest matches of the show included Sting’s retirement match and the triple threat AEW World Championship match, numerous other matches on the card had some massive implications on the storylines in the next few weeks.

The pay-per-view featured an all-star scramble to determine the No.1 contender for the AEW World Championship with some of the biggest stars on the AEW roster in action. The match featured “The Ocho” Chris Jericho against Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, FTW Champion HOOK, “The Machine” Brian Cage, Magnus, Dante Martin and “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer.

In a display of sheer entertainment, Wardlow turned out to be the ultimate winner after pinning Dante Martin following a brutal powerbomb. However, every man in the match deserves their flowers for their brilliant performance.

With a victory at Revolution, Wardlow now has his sights set on the AEW World Championship match. The 3-way match features Samoa Joe defending against Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland later during the pay-per-view.
