Roderick Strong has been regarded as an exciting and enthralling wrestling star in the business today. After spending much of his time in the big leagues in factions, Roddy has a huge singles title opportunity at AEW’s next pay-per-view show.

The member of the Undisputed Kingdom is set to battle ‘Freshly Squeezed’ Orange Cassidy for his AEW International Championship at AEW Revolution, taking place in Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.

Before their huge title encounter, the duo were a part of an 8-person tag team showdown on the final AEW Collision before the pay-per-view. Interestingly, the match saw the former Neck Strong one choke out Cassidy with his Strong Hold for an extended stretch.

In video released by AEW on their X account, Roderick Strong sounded extremely confident following the events of Collision and vowed to end Orange Cassidy’s title reign for good measure to break the standard he himself has set.

“Orange Cassidy. Yes, yes, yes. That was your last night as International champion, and how did it feel? How did it feel when I had you in that Strong Hold and I wouldn’t let go? How? I’ve waited so long for this. This, This means so much to me. This means everything, tomorrow night, live on pay per view, I destroy you. Cassidy, Orange Cassidy, AEW International Champion, the man that set the standard that I’m about to break. My name is Roderick Strong, this is the Undisputed Kingdom, and I am your new AEW International Champion.”

With the No.1 contender walking into the title match with a wave of momentum, it seems that the time could be ticking on Orange Cassidy’s AEW International championship reign. We will have to wait and see what goes down on tonight’s AEW pay-per-view show.
