Since her return to WWE at last year’s Royal Rumble, Chelsea Green has achieved considerable success in the past 12 months. Interestingly enough, she also filmed a movie last year titled, ‘A Bluegrass Christmas.’

Chelsea Green mentioned that she had the opportunity to film a movie in her native Canada titled ‘A Bluegrass Christmas’ back in November 2023. During her appearance on the Lightweights Podcast, Green discussed her role as ‘Claire Crosby,’ a country singer in the film.

Green mentioned her preference for exploring more opportunities in the film industry, expressing excitement about the Christmas movie, filmed in Ontario, and potentially releasing in the summer or during the holiday season.

Although she played a country singer, Green admitted to not singing in the movie and humorously emphasized her gratitude for having someone else provide the vocals. She concluded by expressing her aspiration to focus more on the acting side of her career.

”I actually just filmed a Christmas movie that’s gonna come out this year. So we filmed it in Ontario (Canada). We filmed it in November… it might come out this summer. Christmas in July, or might come out for Christmas. It’s called ‘A Bluegrass Christmas’. I was a country singer. I don’t sing though. Thank God. Yeah (they had someone sing for me). Nobody needs to hear me sing. I’m telling you, nobody (she laughed). Not good. But that is the goal. The goal is definitely to lean more into the acting side of things.”

While the release year for ‘A Bluegrass Christmas’ is confirmed for 2024, a specific release date has not been publicly disclosed at this time. Notably, Chelsea Green shares the screen with talented actors Shaun Johnston and John Tench in this upcoming film. Fans eagerly await further details about the movie’s premiere, anticipating a delightful cinematic experience with this ensemble cast.
