Nia Jax lost to Rhea Ripley in the main event of Elimination Chamber 2024. This made a match between Ripley and the winner of the Women’s Elimination match, Becky Lynch, official for the Grandest Stage of them All. However, with nothing in plans for her at WrestleMania, Jax attacked Lynch ahead of her singles match against Liv Morgan on Raw this week, sending a message to the whole division.

Liv Morgan, who has been on her path to win the Women’s World Championship was on the brisk of winning her match against Jax on Raw when Lynch came out to take revenge from the latter causing a disqualification. This wasn’t digestible for the 29-year-old who then confronted the Man for getting in her way.

During her appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Becky Lynch addressed Morgan’s retailiation on Raw backstage. The Man apologized to Morgan for her actions and was ready if the latter wanted to fight for it.

“I know how I would feel if somebody did that to me. I would be pi*sed. I would want to fight them. I understand that. If she wants to fight me, I’ll never say no. But, it was one of those things where I wasn’t even thinking about her match I wasn’t even thinking about the match, I was just thinking about getting my hands on Nia Jax and retribution because it was two weeks in a row… and I’m not just going to sit back and take that. So, retaliation had to happen, but I do apologize that it was at the expense of Liv. Sorry, I could’ve handled that a million different ways, but I didn’t. If Liv wants to fight about it, she can, or if she wants to cry about it, she can.”
