Many fans are aware of the fact that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s relationship was not good a few years ago. In fact, they got into a verbal confrontation with each other on SmackDown in 2021. The two have since reconciled but Lynch still believes they will butt heads no matter what, as she admitted the animosity in the past weighed her down.

Becky Lynch previously opened up about the backstage confrontation with Charlotte Flair. Even Charlotte Flair said that she felt like the only adult in her feud with Becky Lynch.

In late 2023, Flair and Lynch found themselves on the same Survivor Series team inside War Games. After a triumphant victory, their joy during the post-show press conference was genuinely heartwarming. Delighted by their performance, they were even happier about the rekindled friendship.

While speaking to Daily Mail, Becky Lynch talked about her previously strained relationship with Charlotte Flair. Lynch admitted that the animosity with Flair weighed her down.

”Wasn’t that nice?’ Lynch said speaking of their press conference together. ‘Look, I think Charlotte and I are always going to be butting heads, right? Because we both want to be the very best and with that, it’s hard to have an eternal symbiotic relationship.”

”But, it was nice. Animosity, especially for a long time, begins to weigh on you and begins to get heavy and it’s nice to get a break from that.’

”But you can’t get too much of that. This is wrestling man. We’re selling the good stuff, we’re selling conflict.”

While Becky Lynch is set to compete in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on February 24th, Charlotte Flair is recovering from an ACL injury. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see if the two will team up again somewhere down the line.
