Becky Lynch has been one of the mainstays of WWE television for the past few years now. She is also known to never back down from a fight, inside and outside the squared circle. It seems she finally addressed her recent confrontation with Charlotte Flair.

As many fans are aware by now, Charlotte Flair got into verbal confrontation with Becky Lynch last month on Smackdown. This was preceded by the two throwing their titles at each other during the title exchange, which was not part of the script.

It was said that Charlotte Flair had backstage heat on her as well. In addition to that, Charlotte Flair also had huge argument with Sonya Deville. In fact, Deville was so mad she wanted to fight Flair.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Becky Lynch was asked about the backstage incident with Charlotte Flair. Lynch simply stated that in some situations, one has to become the hero and that is exactly what she was in that instance.

“I don’t know, man. We don’t talk anymore. We don’t talk. So all I’ll say is the locker room needs a hero sometimes. And sometimes somebody’s gotta be a hero. I’m all right being that hero. That’s what I’ll say on that matter.”

It was also previously said that Becky Lynch was regarded as hero backstage after standing up to Charlotte Flair. The two are set to clash at WWE Survivor Series this month, so it remains to be seen whether it will remain purely professional or not.
