The main event for this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW was one of the most highly anticipated title bouts in recent memory and lived it to its hype and expectations as the fans in attendance witnessed, only for a major title change to be narrowly missed out, courtesy of a brother screwing a brother yet again.

The championship match pitted the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental champion GUNTHER defending his title against Main Event Jey Uso after weeks of run-ins between the duo. While the Ring General looked to add another win to his impressive reign, Jey aimed to clinch his first singles title in WWE.

GUNTHER displayed his in-ring dominance to put down the leader of the YEET movement, while Uso fought the record-breaking champion with everything in his arsenal to etch his name in the history books of WWE.

It was an absolute display of a classic in-ring showdown that had the fans on their feet with excitement. As the match approached its end, Uso delivered 5 spears on GUNTHER and connected with the Uso splash. As he closed in for the win, his brother Jimmy Uso caused a timely distraction by appearing ringside and ringing the bell continuously. The entire chaos gave GUNTHER enough time to regroup and capitalize to score the win and retain his title.
