Carlito has been on a roll since his WWE return last year and is actively involved in a feud against Legado Del Fantasma. During his current tenure, Carlito has largely been part of tag team bouts without many singles matches. However, he finally competed in his first singles match at a WWE live event in 13 years.

Carlito made his WWE return at WWE Backlash, aiding Bad Bunny in a match against Damien Priest. His full-time return was officially confirmed at WWE Fastlane, where he became a member of The LWO.

WWE continued the Road to WrestleMania live tour with a house show in Oakland, California, on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Carlito competed in his first singles bout in 13 years at a house show in Oakland. The LWO member secured victory against Austin Theory, who was distracted by R-Truth during the match.

The victory also marked the first singles bout for the Puerto Rican on the live circuit since May 2010. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see how Carlito will continue to be booked on WWE television in the coming weeks, as fans feel Carlito deserves a proper singles run as well.
