WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry commands respect throughout the pro wrestling world. He is also very proud of his son’s wrestling achievements, and it’s no surprise that he proudly mentioned his son placing second in the Texas State Championship recently.

Mark Henry’s son, Jacob, is gaining recognition in amateur wrestling, securing notable victories outside of pro the wrestling ring. Given his considerable talent in amateur wrestling, fans speculate that he might follow in his father’s footsteps and become a professional wrestler.

Mark Henry took to his Instagram and proudly announced that his son came in second place in the Texas State Championship for amateur wrestling.

‘Thanks, everyone for supporting Mr. Jacob placed second today in the Texas State Championship. We are very proud. There is more competition to be had the work never stops..”

Mark Henry expressed his excitement about his son being chosen for the University of Oklahoma’s wrestling team. He also cheered his son after the latter secured his 100th high school wrestling victory recently.

The prospect of Mark Henry’s son entering professional wrestling remains uncertain. With his father’s influence, there’s a possibility he may seek assistance in making his way into the industry someday. We’ll have to see if Jacob Henry becomes a major deal in pro wrestling in the future.
