WWE is an ever-changing entity with plenty of cogs in the wheel of what is certainly a well-oiled machine, but not everyone can stay in WWE forever. A senior WWE writer recently left the company and now the reason for their exit has been revealed.

As previous reported, Senior Writer and Producer for WWE Jennifer Pepperman parted ways with the company. It was noted that she was not released and that it was her decision in the end.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Pepperman’s primary focus had been on the women’s division on Smackdown. The reason cited for her departure was a desire for a change. It was noted that she had a close relationship with Mercedes Moné.

”Long time WWE writer and producer Jennifer Pepperman decided to leave the company. Her main focus had been the women’s division on Smackdown. The only thing said was that she wanted a change. It was noted she was close with Mercedes Moné.”

With Mercedes Mone set to make her debut at AEW Big Business in March, it is likely Jennifer Pepperman could be heading to AEW and help write for the women’s division there. Only time will tell whether this move will benefit AEW in the end.
