Drew McIntyre’s future with WWE has been a subject of speculation, as his contract is reportedly set to expire this year. For a long time, he hadn’t signed a contract but now it has been indicated that he might have inked a new contract.

As previously noted, Drew McIntyre was exploring various options as his contract expiration date approached. Nonetheless, many fans are convinced that there is no conceivable way McIntyre would depart from WWE.

According to PWInsider, it was reported that Drew McIntyre is being advertised for the May WWE event in Italy, which indicates that WWE and McIntyre might have come to terms on a new contract.

”Interesting to note that Drew McIntyre is being advertised for the May WWE event in Italy, a sign the two signs may have come to terms on an agreement beyond Wrestlemania 40.  The expectation, as PWInsider.com has previously reported, was that his deal expired shortly after Mania takes place this April.’

Drew McIntyre is currently beefing with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and he is set to square off against Rhodes on Monday Night RAW next week. Nonetheless, fans will be glad if Drew McIntyre truly signed a new contract with WWE, as his importance to the company is immense.
