Former IWGP Women’s Champion, Mercedes Mone, has been making waves by rubbing shoulders with several WWE stars at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. While her future with WWE remains uncertain, recent events suggest she may be on the verge of a new chapter in her career.

During the February 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that AEW Big Business is set to take place on the March 13 episode of Dynamite at the TD Garden in Boston. This announcement has sparked speculation that this event could mark the debut of Mercedes Mone in AEW.

Mone’s potential debut with AEW could put to rest any talks of her returning to WWE in the near future. However, this hasn’t stopped her from maintaining connections with her former colleagues. On February 11, Bayley shared a photo on her Instagram story featuring herself alongside WWE stars Naomi and Jimmy Uso, as well as Mercedes Mone, outside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

It’s worth noting that Bayley, Naomi, and Mone share a longstanding friendship dating back to their time together in WWE. Bayley, in particular, is currently riding high after winning the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match by last eliminating Liv Morgan. Her victory has earned her a shot at IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.
