Will Ospreay Inks Interesting Tattoo After NJPW Departure

AEW promised surprise signing at Full Gear 2023, who turned out to be none other than Will Ospreay. He still had some commitments to tend to after that but he will be joining AEW very soon. Now, he recently displayed a new NJPW tattoo following his exit from the company.

Will Ospreay was given unique flexibility in his AEW contract. He expressed that his decision to sign with AEW ultimately aligned well with his circumstances. That doesn’t mean he forgot his connection to NJPW.

A Japanese fan took to Twitter and uploaded a recent photo of Will Ospreay during an autograph session, where Will Ospreay could be seen sporting a new tattoo, which was the NJPW lion symbol.

More specifically, he got tattoos of the lion symbol as well as Ryogoku Sumo Hall, including the dates of some of his most significant matches at the legendary hall.

We have also reported Will Ospreay’s status for AEW Revolution. We will have to wait and see how Will Ospreay will fare in AEW, as he is set to become a full-time star there very soon.
