AEW promised surprise signing at Full Gear 2023, who turned out to be none other than Will Ospreay. He still had some commitments to tend to after that but he will be joining AEW very soon. Now, his status for AEW Revolution has been revealed.

Will Ospreay was also granted special freedom with his AEW contract. Will Ospreay also explained why he signed with AEW, as it simply worked out for him in the end.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Ospreay’s affiliation with AEW. According to Meltzer, Ospreay is set to appear at Revolution in Greensboro and is expected to become a regular on AEW television starting in February.

The AEW Revolution pay-per-view will be taking place on March 3rd, 2024 in Greensboro, where the biggest draw of the event is undoubtedly Sting’s retirement match against The Young Bucks.

We will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for the Aerial Assassin once he makes his way to the company as a full-time competitor next month. Needless to say, fans are incredibly excited for what he can accomplish in the company.
