WWE is known to attract some of the brightest talents from all around the globe. This week before WWE NXT rolled on our television screens, a popular wrestler from the independent circuit made his debut for the company.

The star mentioned here is Je’Von Evans – fka Jay Malachi in other promotions. He joined the global juggernaut at the beginning of 2024 alongside prospects like Brogan Finlay and Wren Sinclair.

He battled against Brooks Jensen at tonight’s NXT, right before the taping for the 2/6 edition of the black and gold brand aired on television. This could possibly air as a future episode for NXT Level Up.

The promising prospect may be new to the land of WWE’s development brand. However, his wrestling resume is far beyond, being considered an established player in the business for his work outside the Stamford-based promotion.
