The Royal Rumble Premium Live Event has concluded and now the Road to WrestleMania 40 has begun in full swing. With their next destination taking place in Australia, WWE will be taping a future episode of SmackDown in advance.

The Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event is scheduled to take place on February 24th at the Opus Stadium in Perth, Australia. With a stadium capacity of 70,000, WWE is expected to utilize 55,000 seats for the event, promising an electrifying atmosphere.

The pre-show kicks off at 4 am ET, followed by the main card at 5 am ET. The early start time is attributed to time differences, as the WWE crew will be flying to Australia. Additionally, akin to other international Premium Live Events, the company will be recording the go-home edition of SmackDown, scheduled to air the night before.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer highlighted that the SmackDown event on February 16 in Salt Lake City seems to be a double taping. This observation is based on the absence of an event listed on February 23rd, as the crew will be traveling for the Chamber event.
