Wardlow was revealed to be one of Adam Cole’s faction members back at AEW Worlds End and he has been dominant since then. He also had an injury scare on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and now provided an update on his condition.

During the January 31 AEW Dynamite, Wardlow seemed injured, limping noticeably after a move. The Undisputed Kingdom with Adam Cole in a wheelchair, accompanied him for the match against Komander.

During the match as Wardlow dominated, he seemingly sustained an injury before securing the win. His knee appeared to buckle during a powerbomb, causing concern from the commentary team. Wardlow limped through the finish and post-match, eventually leaving the ring after AEW Dynamite.

After AEW Dynamite ended, Wardlow took to Twitter and addressed the match’s uncertain conclusion by providing a health update, stating that while a normal man might have been injured, he assured everyone he was okay.

“A normal man’s knee would be ruined. I’m no normal man. I’m still coming for the heavyweight title. And there’s nothing and no one that can stop me. Knee is just fine 🐺 #AEWDynamite”

It is certainly good to hear that Wardlow did not suffer any injury as fans were genuinely concerned he tore his ACL, which has become a common trend in professional wrestling lately. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Wardlow as the weeks progress.
