WWE Planning ‘Off The Wall’ Surprise for 2024 Royal Rumble Event

The WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event will be held on January 27th and it has a ton of hype behind it because of the sheer number of surprises the company can have for fans. Now it appears the company is working on an ‘off the wall’ surprise for the event tonight.

The Premium Live Event will showcase the traditional Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches as its main attractions, offering numerous surprises for fans. Given the history of the Royal Rumble matches, seeing former WWE talent back for the event wouldn’t be any surprise.

The company is also building partnerships with other pro wrestling promotions over the years. This is clearly something that fans feel will benefit WWE in the end, as AEW continues to work with other promotions already.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that WWE reached out to outside companies over the weekend to explore the possibility of incorporating their talent into the event, as they are planning an ‘off the wall’ surprise for the Rumble.

‘‘WWE could be working on an off the wall surprise for the WWE Royal Rumble. Fightful has learned that WWE reached out to outside companies this past weekend about potentially utilizing their talent for the WWE Royal Rumble.”

WWE has also unveiled the WrestleMania 40 sign ahead of the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.  Betting odds also hint at intriguing results, adding to the excitement of tonight’s show.

• WWE Undisputed Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles vs. LA Knight
• Men’s Royal Rumble match
• Women’s Royal Rumble match
• WWE United States Championship: Logan Paul (c) vs. Kevin Owens
