Taya Valkyrie made her long-awaited AEW Dynamite debut in her home country of Canada during the March 15th edition of the show and has made sporadic appearances since then. She had a solid match at AEW Double or Nothing last year but it appears one of the dancers from her entrance has passed away.

Taya Valkyrie squared off against Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view last year,. She would end up losing the match, much to the disappointment of fans.

Valkyrie also made a special entrance for the match, which featured a couple of background dancers. However, Valkyrie took to Twitter and revealed that Masuimi Max, who was one of the aforementioned dancers, passed away recently.

”💔 At a loss for words right now. RIP Masuimi Max, she was one of my dancers who performed with me during my entrance at @aew Double or Nothing this past year. Your style, uniqueness, kindness and creativity will live on forever through your work. Rest in peace angel.”
