There was a lot of speculation about where RAW would go after its deal with USA Network expired and fans got their answer, as RAW will move to Netflix starting 2025. Nick Khan has now confirmed whether RAW will end up moving from Mondays following this huge deal.

As previously reported, WWE and Netflix confirmed the groundbreaking deal to shift Monday Night RAW to the streaming service starting in January 2025. The reported deal is valued at over $5 billion for duration of ten years.

While speaking to the Pat McAfee Show, WWE President Nick Khan mentioned the challenges of competing with various sporting events, such as Monday Night Football and national championships in football and basketball.

Despite the stiff competition, he highlighted RAW’s strong performance with a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demo against significant matchups. Khan expressed confidence that RAW could succeed both on Mondays and potentially on a different day if needed.

At this moment in time, it remains Monday Night RAW. Keep in mind, we have ten and a half months until this deal is up and running. We’re looking at what you’re looking at and what everyone else is looking at, you have a proliferation of gambling with Monday Night Football. You have an enhanced Disney package, better games. You have the Manningcast.

This year, it was on ABC and ESPN. Last season, the playoff game they got was Tom Brady at the Cowboys. You also have the college national championships, football and hoops, on Mondays. You have a lot of Mondays where there is stiff competition. That said, even against Alabama-Michigan and Washington-Texans game a few weeks ago, Monday Night Raw did a .6 in the 18 to 49 demo, which is a massive rating against big competition. If we stay on Mondays, it’ll work, if we move to a different day, we think it’ll work too.”

The move to Netflix signifies a significant shift in the media landscape, bringing weekly live sports entertainment to a global streaming platform. The impact on WWE’s presentation is yet to be seen, and audiences will be keen to observe how the transition to Netflix in 2025 will influence the future delivery of WWE’s content.
