Cora Jade is one of the bright young stars in NXT’s women’s division. For the past few years, she has been involved in many key storylines most notably with her former best friend Roxanne Perez.

However, Cora Jade found herself off television for the latter part of the year. She eventually made her return to NXT at NXT Deadline and it looked like she was due for a big push. Unfortunately for her, her push had to come to a screeching halt.

Jade suffered an injury during match against Lyra Valkyria at a WWE Live Event on January 12. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter later confirmed that Jade suffered a torn ACL and could be out of action for 8-9 months.

Jade underwent surgery on January 23rd and has since taken to social media to send an inspiring message to her fans.

“They say that your darkest hour comes before your dawn. TTYL,” wrote Cora Jade.

It’s good to see that Jade is recovering from her injury and we hope to see her back in the ring again soon.
