Kazuchika Okada has accomplished everything one would want to in NJPW and many wondered if he would ever remain with NJPW once his contract expired. He will be leaving NJPW after this month and it appears AEW already made him a better offer than others.

As previously reported, Kazuchika Okada is set to become a free agent at the end of January this year. The promotion would officially announce that Kazuchika Okada will be parting ways with the company after this month.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that AEW made the stronger first offer to The Rainmaker after his NJPW exit, but Okada hasn’t signed any contract yet.

It was previously reported that WWE has their eye on Kazuchika Okada and there is a chance WWE will end up snatching him up once he becomes a free agent if AEW doesn’t give him a big enough offer.

The likely reason for Kazuchika Okada’s NJPW exit was also revealed. Only time will tell whether Kazuchika Okada will end up making his way to WWE or sign a long-term deal with AEW, as the world is truly his oyster.
