Charlotte Flair is out of action with a knee injury, although she’s had positive updates in recent memory. Another exciting part of her life could be coming together as well.

Andrade El Idolo let his WWE deal expire years ago, and then he ended up in AEW. As we previously noted, his deal was initially a two-year agreement. That time was extended a bit due to injury.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Charlotte Flair really pulled for Andrade’s return to WWE. Interestingly enough, Ric Flair, who is still with AEW, had Andrade pushing for Tony Khan to sign the Nature Boy.

“We’re told that Charlotte pushed for an Andrade return to WWE, and Andrade had actually pushed for Ric Flair to come into AEW.”

Andrade’s return was expected to happen already, but that didn’t come to pass. With the Royal Rumble coming up on January 27th, it’s very possible that he could make his big return in Tropicana Field.

We will have full coverage of Andrade’s next moves in the pro wrestling world, and so much more, here at Ringside News. You never know what will break next, because there is a lot going on at all time.
