Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff had quite a show on social media. Khan reacted to the USA Network’s Twitter account trolling his love of Cagematch ratings, and that set off a chain of tweets that really snowballed for the influential pro wrestling personality, and owner of the 2nd larges pro wrestling company in North America.

In case you need a reminder, Tony Khan posted on Twitter to defend his booking, and his company, while throwing some shade at Jinder Maha. For the record, Jinder Mahal already replied, which broke near two-year silent streak on Twitter in the process. The story kept going for a long time after that.

A moral victory for USA is one win more than their World Title challenger Jinder Mahal has in the past 364 days… because it’s been literally a full year since he won a match. You really put AEW in our place getting Jinder Mahal in a big match on your tv show. Do it more often.”

Tony Khan faced widespread criticism on the internet following that tweet. A fan expressed their point bluntly, highlighting a valid perspective. Numerous opinions circulated as TK’s tweet ignited creativity among meme creators everywhere.

“We also used to get amused at fans who counted wins like wrestlers “earned” them. Hell if Vince wanted I could have been world champion. But the storyline didn’t support it. It’s about the story clearly not wins in a predetermined space. Thought a boss would understand that.”

In response to the initial tweet, a fan pointed out a situation where Abadon was granted a title shot by Tony Khan after being absent from AEW TV for over a year, drawing a parallel to Jinder. Eric Bischoff, upon seeing this tweet, directly questioned Tony Khan’s stance, asking whether the information provided was accurate or if it was possibly automated.

No @EBischoff, not true at all. Abadon returned to AEW + then they won a 4 way match on TNT against other great wrestlers to earn a title shot, which is completely different than someone going a full year losing every match they’re in + getting a title shot without a single win.”

“Reading would be your friend, Eric.”

Eric Bischoff promptly responded to Tony Khan, addressing AEW’s leader and referencing a quote from Dave Meltzer in a condescending manner. The trolling from Easy E only continued.

Oh kid, my reading comprehension skills are wizard like. By the way, that was one of @davemeltzerWON wicked comebacks whenever he’d get called out on his bs. Coincidence or are you really that deep?”

During his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff revealed that he was actually in his home sauna while he was messing with Tony Khan on social media. He was also having a very good time throwing online barbs at Khan.

“I was having a blast,” Eric Bischoff started to explain as he said that he was in his infrared sauna in his studio when he saw that pop off on Twitter.

“I was laughing my ass off in the sauna. I was having a blast, and I guess that I shouldn’t at this stage in my life, age, whatever, but f*cking with people on social media is a guilty pleasure of mine.”

Bischoff said he was in the sauna for his 90-minute session, and he just ran out to change music on his phone. Then he noticed that Tony Khan tweet on social media, so he had a good time for the next 90 minutes playing with TK while getting some sauna time.

Eric Bischoff had a lot of fun with Tony Khan when he tweeted back after TK’s meltdown. That USA Network’s Twitter account started an avalanche from the AEW President. Easy E was more than happy to help it along.

We will have to see what is next for Eric Bischoff and Tony Khan’s story. They may not be finished with each other just yet, but only time will tell what they have to say next.
