The pro wrestling world is full of interesting stories, and Stephen P New certainly has lot of them. One of his top clients, Jim Cornette, also keeps him very busy.

Jim Cornette is known for his outspoken nature and occasional controversies, as he consistently relies on one man for legal counsel, Stephen P. New. Regular listeners of Cornette’s podcast are familiar with New’s name, as his legal services are frequently promoted on the show. Serving as Cornette’s go-to lawyer, New has been consistently occupied with work, representing the former WWE employee.

Stephen P New told the Wrestling with Rip Rogers podcast that he stays busy as Jim Cornette’s attorney. He also praised Corney for having a great business mind.

“As you can imagine, if you’re Jim Cornette’s lawyer, you’re going to stay busy because someone is always offended. But more so than that, Jim’s got a great business mind, so I’m always talking to him about these ideas, and these things he wants to do, and how best to protect himself.”

New also mentioned that he assisted Jim Cornette in obtaining the trademark for the Midnight Express name a few years back, describing their relationship as mutually advantageous. New highlighted that the visibility gained from collaborating with Cornette has enabled him to handle significant cases, expressing gratitude for his current position.

Beyond his association with Cornette, New is also engaged in legal matters with Kevin Sullivan and, more recently, provided assistance to Francine, ECW’s “Queen of Extreme,” in securing a trademark.

We will have to see who Stephen P New helps out next, but odds are, he will keep his hand in the pro wrestling world however he can.
