AEW brought Collision against heavy competition this week. TNA Wrestling’s Hard to Kill and NJPW’s Battle in the Valley were both taking place at the same time. Tony Khan’s operation brought the best live show they could.

According to Alfred Konuwa, the January 13th episode of AEW Collision brought in an overnight average viewership of 386K, with 126K in the 18 to 49 demographic. This number was down from the last week’s average viewership.

The AEW Collision lineup for January 13th, 2024, featured an Adam Copeland Open Challenge, with Lee Moriarty accepting the challenge. FTR and Daniel Garcia went against the House of Black in a tag team match.

Red Velvet faced Deonna Purrazzo in a singles match, Purrazzo’s debut for the company. The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship was defended by Brian Cage and Gates of Agony against Lance Archer and Righteous. Dustin Rhodes squared off against Willie Mack, and “Hangman” Adam Page clashed with JD Drake.

January 6th episode of AEW Collision brought an overnight average of 397,000 viewers, with of those 170k viewers in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The December 23rd episode of AEW Collision brought in 489,000 viewers, with a .16 in the 18 to 49 demographic. The December 16th episode of AEW Collision brought in 440k viewers, with 184K in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The December 9th episode of AEW Collision brought in 455,000 viewers, with a .14 in the 18 to 49 demographic. That episode was against WWE NXT Deadline.

We will have to see what AEW brings to the table to Collision in the weeks to come. Tony Khan’s company is going to keep trying their best to pop a rating.
