AEW returned to Daily’s Place this week for Dynamite, and they taped Rampage afterward. Now, we know how many fans tuned in to see the show.

According to Alfred Konuwa, the January 12th episode of AEW Rampage brought a viewership of 361k for their Homecoming episode. 126k of those viewers were in the 18 to 49 demographic. That number was down from the previous week’s number

During the 1/12 episode of AEW Rampage, Eddie Kingston retained the AEW Continental Crown Championship, defeating Wheeler Yuta in around eighteen minutes with a Northern Lights Bomb. The ROH Pure title was not at stake in this match.

Swerve Strickland, accompanied by Prince Nana, secured a quick victory over Matt Sydal. That match took about four to five minutes before it ended with a Storm Cradle Driver.

Hikaru Shida picked up a win over Queen Aminata in a match that took about 7 to 8 minutes. Then the Dark Order, consisting of Evil Uno, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds, with Negative One by their side, were able to beat 2.0’s Matt Menard and Angelo Parker, as well as Jake Hagar. This was a lot of fun, and a good way to end the night in Daily’s Place.

The January 5th episode of AEW Rampage brought in a viewership of 406,000 viewers, with a .14 in the 18 to 49 demographic. That number was up from the previous week’s average.

We will have to see what Tony Khan’s company brings to Friday to capture fan attention. Only time will tell how much longer they will have this show, but fans who watch seem to be enjoying it.
