The absence of The Hardys from the AEW Homecoming episode of Dynamite on January 10, 2024, did not go unnoticed, and Jeff Hardy himself made some comments regarding their non-appearance. This follows their recent victory on Rampage, where Jeff Hardy had humorously stated, “Somebody needs to get us on AEW Dynamite so that we can boost those ratings.”

The last time The Hardys were seen on AEW Dynamite was on November 29, 2023, when they teamed up with Brother Zay in a match against Action Andretti & Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin), which they lost.

Despite both Matt and Jeff Hardy being at the Daily’s Place venue for AEW Homecoming, it was reported by multiple sources that they were not included in the show’s lineup.

Jeff Hardy took to Instagram to address the situation, though the post has since been deleted. In the post, he expressed their absence from the live show and humorously mentioned being stuck in the “dimension” of AEW Rampage. It’s worth noting that these comments appear to be in line with The Hardys’ on-screen personas, where they often comment on their positioning within the company.

“We,”TheHardys”will not be appearing on this live show called #AEWDynamite. We, “TheHardys”are stuck in the dimension of,”AEWRampage”

However, it seems that the post was removed due to the negative response it received, indicating that even though their remarks may be part of their characters, they still generated some controversy.
