AEW held their Homecoming episode of Dynamite in Daily’s Place this week and it was a memorable show from top to bottom. There were also some guests backstage who didn’t appear on the show and this includes a former WWE Superstar as well.

The Homecoming edition of AEW Dynamite featured a lot of solid matches, including two that paid tribute to the late, great Brodie Lee. An absent AEW star was also backstage during the show but he wasn’t the only surprise guest.

Former WWE Superstar Elijah Burke, also known as Pope D’Angelo Dinero during his time in TNA, took to Twitter and uploaded a few photos of himself backstage at Dynamite this week.

The former WWE talent uploaded photos with Brian Cage, Eddie Kingston, Swerve Strickland and others. Burke also thanked Tony Khan and the entire AEW crew for all the hospitality.

”Thanks @TonyKhan and the entire @AEW crew for the hospitality! 👊🏾 #AEW #AEWDynamite #Duuuval”

Elijah Burke has been competing in the independent circuit for quite a while now. Regardless, there are still some fans who want to see Burke back in a big promotion again and perhaps AEW might just invite him somewhere down the line.

What do you think of Elijah Burke being backstage at AEW Dynamite this week? Do you think he should go to AEW? Let us know in the comments!
