Velveteen Dream was one of the biggest falls from grace in the history of WWE due to allegations that sent the hashtag #FireVelveteenDream trending whenever he was on television. Dream also had beef with EC3 in the past over a controversial bathroom filming incident and now it appears EC3 no longer has issue with Dream.

As previously reported, there were allegations that Velveteen Dream attempted to film people in the bathroom during party. EC3 further claimed that WWE was fully aware of Velveteen Dream’s actions.

This led to Velveteen Dream accusing EC3 of snorting cocaine during his time at the party. EC3 responded to what Dream said and simply hoped Dream does get the help he needs.

To begin the year 2024, Velveteen Dream delivered comprehensive video apology, marking the start of his efforts to make amends. During an appearance on The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 made it clear that he has resolved his differences with Dream. EC3 stated that he would readily accept any gesture of reconciliation from Dream, stressing that there is no need for unnecessary apologies.

“If he extends an olive branch, I’d definitely accept it,” EC3 said. “He doesn’t need to apologize for anything. I don’t believe in apologies that are unnecessary. I mean, I told a story that was verbatimly true that painted him in the light that he was in, and so be it, I am not going to ever stop nor criticize somebody whom truly seeks forgiveness.”

“I think forgiveness is one of the greatest things about being human. To forgive, to be bold enough to ask for it, is pretty impeccable, and I just hope it’s true, it’s honest, he finds his best self. If someone’s working hard to change, the worst thing you can do is hold them to their past, so I do not hold any animosity to the past.”

Velveteen Dream also contacted WWE employee regarding a return. Only time will tell what the future holds for Dream, but it is good to know that EC3 has finally moved on from their beef.
