AEW has signed plenty of great talent over the past year, but a recent female standout has really caught fan attention. Queen Aminata is back in the ring, and fans may just see a lot more of her.

After last week’s impressive performance against the debuting Mariah May, fans were wondering about the contract status of Queen Aminata. The stand-out indie wrestler has been working hard for years, and she’s getting noticed in AEW.

Sean Sapp noted behing Fightful’s paywall that they were informed that “several talent on the AEW roster were told that Queen Aminata was signed to All Elite Wrestling.” That being said, the nature of her deal is not clear.

Though we aren’t sure if it’s full time or tiered per appearance. She’s been appearing for AEW for over two years, competing in over matches along the way. She actually picked up a win in September 2022 on AEW Dark when teaming with Skye Blue, and multiple ROH wins.

Queen Aminata has brought a lot of attention to herself on the independent circuit. She did face a period of inactivity throughout much of 2023, but she’s back at it, and getting a lot of bookings. Since her comeback on December 20th, she has participated in four matches for AEW and ROH.
