Samoa Joe shook things up in a big way at AEW Worlds End when he won the AEW World Title from MJF. Now, it appears that AEW may be closer to making a big debut for a new World Title belt.

It was made very clear that Samoa Joe is changing the AEW World Title design. He did not like the Burberry Title that MJF brought into the picture, although he did defend it for a long time.

Sean Sapp reports behind Fightful’s paywall that AEW is considering debuting that new World Title Belt design this week.

“There was discussion of debuting the new AEW World Championship title belt tonight in Jacksonville. There are several cosmetic changes that were made to the title belt, including side plates.”
