AEW is going through a lot of changes, and now we have another name who is going to see an internal shift. Tony Khan’s company has decided to promote someone from within.

Fightful noted that that Shane Emerson, who was a significant contributor to establishing AEW’s international presence, has recently been promoted. He is now Vice President, Global Programming and Partnerships for the company. This comes during a time when there are a few internal vacancies within AEW.

Shane Emerson, who was formerly the Head of Global Programming & Partnerships, has been with the company since September 2021. This was noted on his Linkedin page that he has started as Vice President Global Programming & Partnership.

Dana Massie recently quit her job on top of the company’s merchandising. Another departure saw AEW Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh step back from the company.

A long-time AEW name’s focus has seemingly shifted in recent months. Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling in 2019, one of the key names behind the scenes has been the company’s Chief Legal Officer, Megha Parekh.

Kevin Sullivan, who was their long-time television producer, and put together their team backstage, was also fired. The company is going in a new direction for 2024, so we will have to see what Tony Khan decides to do.
