WWE New Year’s Revolution saw lot of action, and LA Knight was also busted open during the main event match. During the main event, Roman Reigns and the Bloodline invaded, targeting LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles, but Knight was already bleeding from the match.

Earlier in the match, AJ Styles landed punches on LA Knight’s skull, causing him to bleed from the forehead even more. It was thought by some fans that Knight was busted open after taking an elbow from Styles.

WWE didn’t remove LA Knight to address the bleeding. He continued in the match, and it only added to the dramatic moment. Despite nearly winning the triple threat match, Roman Reigns intervened, disrupting the whole thing.

Sean Sapp posted a note about LA Knight behind Fightful’s paywall. He was apparently legit busted open, but he’s okay now.

LA Knight was busted open during the match, but was said to be okay.

This event follows another recent occurrence of blood when Becky Lynch bled during her match against Nia Jax on RAW’s DAY 1 episode. We will have to see if WWE matches will feature even more blood in the weeks and months to come.

WWE saw a big change internally when TKO Group Holdings merged the UFC and WWE. Now, it appears that they are not going to shy away from showing blood on television if it just so happens to come up.

What’s your take on WWE matches featuring blood? Does it add to the matches? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
