16-time World Champion John Cena is now a part-timer, having a busy schedule in Hollywood. One of his most recent ventures in Hollywood was ‘Freelance’ and now it has been revealed that the movie ended up getting bad press.

The Leader Of Cenation never fails to give it his best no matter what role he is given and his Hollywood accomplishments in the past few years speak for themselves. This includes his roles in films such as ‘The Suicide Squad’ and ‘Peacemaker’ and even the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies.

In case you didn’t know, John Cena’s movie ‘Freelance‘ features a star-studded cast including Alison Brie, Juan Pablo Raba, Alice Eve, Marton Csokas, and Christian Slater. In contrast, audience members gave it a 77 percent positive score, showcasing an unusual and significant discrepancy in the reception of the movie between critics and the general audience.

”Cena’s new movie, “Freelance” was destroyed by critics but didn’t do as badly with moviegoers. It got seven percent positive reviews in Rotten Tomatoes (two positive, 28 negative) which would make it one of the worst rated movie by critics in years. However, it got 77 percent positive score by moviegoers. It is extremely rare to see that level of discrepancy in movies.”

John Cena hasn’t been seen on WWE television since the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event on November 4th, 2023. It remains to be seen when Cena will be able to make his return to the squared circle.
