Britt Baker stands as one of the brightest stars in AEW’s women’s division, earning acclaim from both fans and fellow wrestlers for her captivating heel persona. While her “Waiting Room” segments once shone as highlights on AEW shows, they regrettably faded away during the pandemic. Now, Baker is determined to persuade Tony Khan to resurrect these segments.

Throughout the pandemic, Britt Baker maintained a captivating television presence with her talk show, “The Waiting Room.” This innovative show saw Baker as the host, welcoming various guests, conducting insightful interviews, and actively contributing to the ongoing storylines.

Nonetheless, it’s worth noting that “The Waiting Room” has been conspicuously absent from AEW TV since the pandemic’s onset. Consequently, there remains a fervent fan base clamoring for AEW to reintroduce these engaging segments.

While speaking to DS Shin on Ring The Belle, Baker was asked if she wanted the ”Waiting Room” segments to return. Baker made it clear she definitely wants them to but feels she has to convince Tony Khan to revive those segments.

“That was fun. That would be…. The thing with the waiting room is, what people don’t realize is how much time it took to set up. It was during Daily’s Place during the pandemic, and they have this whole set, which was amazing. Our crew is fantastic and they did this, it felt like overnight, this whole dental office set. To actually put it up and we were able to set it up on the ground and away from the ring. There would need to be some sort of logistics of how you could set that up and take it down in the middle of a wrestling ring. I don’t know what the answer is, but I’m sure it can be done. If it can be done, the AEW crew would figure out a way. It just takes a lot of time. You have to have the time. I guess I have to convince Tony Khan that I’m worth that much time again.”

Britt Baker also revealed why she chose to stay away from the limelight last year in AEW. Baker has not wrestled since the September 16 episode of AEW Collision where she lost to Kris Statlander in a match for the TBS Championship. We will have to wait and see when Baker will be back as a mainstay on AEW television again.
