Nia Jax came back to WWE last year and has been on an absolute tear since then. She even defeated Becky Lynch on RAW this week and now WWE might have other plans for Nia Jax at the Royal Rumble.

Nia Jax is a prominent figure in WWE’s women’s division but has been a subject of controversy due to concerns about her safety in the ring. This issue became more pronounced when she accidentally injured Becky Lynch’s face in 2018, resulting in a legitimate concussion for Lynch.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch faced off against Nia Jax in a majorly hyped match. To the surprise of everyone in attendance, Nia Jax won the match after hitting Lynch with a Banzai Drop, and fans couldn’t believe it as Jax secured the win clean.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez talked about Nia Jax’s plans after RAW. Alvarez noted how Jax won clean without any sort of interference or distraction, leading him to believe WWE is now preparing Jax to square off against Rhea Ripley. Meltzer agreed with the idea, stating that it made sense.

Alvarez: “Nia beat here clean. There was no gimmicky, not even an exposed buckle. They are probably doing Rhea Ripley vs Nia at the Rumble.”

Dave Meltzer: ”It would make sense.

Becky Lynch has already reacted to her shocking loss on Monday Night RAW as well. Nia Jax already made it clear she wants a piece of Rhea Ripley, so a match between the two at the Royal Rumble on January 27th would definitely make for a solid bout.
