Braun Strowman has been on the sidelines for the past eight months due to injury. But now, he’s back with an update on his recovery timeline after undergoing spinal fusion surgery.

Speaking to the Ranveer Show, Strowman gave some insights into his rehabilitation progress:

“I’m doing great. Every day [I’m] getting better and pushing forward. I just got cleared to start lifting weights again, which is a huge step forward since my surgery. WWE took unbelievable care of me.”

Strowman went on to highlight the top-notch medical care he received, crediting Dr. Cordova at the renowned Andrews Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, as the world’s number one surgeon for the procedure he underwent. It’s clear that he was in expert hands throughout his recovery.

He continued, “I’m putting the size back on…I’m a little fluffy…So yeah, I just got cleared like two and a half weeks ago to fully start lifting weights again. I’m still on the no-contact-to-the-head, no-taking-bumps, and stuff like that. So it’s still going to be another month and two before we start easing back into the ring. But when it’s time to go, we’re going.”

Braun Strowman’s last in-ring appearance was on May 1, 2023. However, he made a special appearance for the tribute show honoring the late Bray Wyatt, also known as Windham Rotunda, after his tragic passing. Fans can now look forward to Strowman’s eventual return to the WWE ring, as he continues to make strides in his recovery journey.
