WWE is looking to take over the pro wrestling world at all times, and 2024 could see some big moves to join up with other companies around the globe. It appears that they could have their eye on working with arguably the biggest joshi pro wrestling company on the planet.

WWE has engaged in partnerships with several promotions over the years, so the idea is not foreign to them. Those partnerships included the likes of ECW, OVW, and NJPW and various UK companies and, more recently, All Japan Pro Wrestling.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is also interested in working with STARDOM. This could be an interesting partnership if they pull it off.

“Besides the new deal working with All Japan, WWE has also expressed interest in working with Stardom. Nothing is finalized that we know of regarding that, but WWE is confirmed interested.”

It’s important to note that Stardom and NJPW share a parent company in Bushi Road. Mercedes Mone just finished up a deal with NJPW, and there are big rumors about her impending WWE return.

WWE’s history includes collaborative efforts, like sending Shinsuke Nakamura to Pro Wrestling Noah for a match with The Great Muta as part of Muta’s retirement tour. Recent reports also suggest WWE’s interest in working with Stardom in the future.

We will have to see what happens next, because 2024 could see some big momentum in the pro wrestling world. WWE could end up with an amazing partnership in Japan when everything is said and done.
