Sami Zayn was taken out of action thanks to an injury angle, and it was later revealed that he will miss some time. The former Undisputed Tag Team Champion returned to the company at Madison Square Garden, but this was not the plan at the time.

Sami Zayn made big announcement that he was returning to WWE at the WWE live event in Madison Square Garden. He teamed they Jey Uso against the Judgment Day for that show, and it was quite a sight.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE originally did not have Sami Zayn on their latest Holiday Tour. This was not the plan, but they had him on the shows anyway.

Even though they did an injury angle to take Zayn out on television, he worked the house shows this week. Originally this wasn’t scheduled since we were told that the Laval, Quebec (Montreal) show would be without either Owens or Zayn. But he worked all the Raw shows.

We will have to see what the future holds for Sami Zayn. He is still going, and has the Royal Rumble in his future. 2023 was a great year for Sami Zayn, so we can only imagine that 2024 will be special as well.

Sami Zayn said that he’s been going through a hard time, and we’re wishing him the best. Hopefully, he is able to keep that momentum up, He certainly has a ton of fans pulling for him.
