Sami Zayn took some time off from WWE, and they wrote a storyline injury to explain his absence. That didn’t last long, as Zayn has returned to the ring, and it happened at Madison Square Garden.

Sami Zayn surprised fans when he announced that he is getting back to the ring on December 26th. He had previously requested some time off, but he didn’t get a ton of time.

Sami Zayn made his big return at MSG, and fans were all about it. He received a great ovation as he made his way to the ring, complete with fans singing away with his entrance music.

The match was Judgment Day versus Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. That was quite a match for him to make his return for. The match concluded after McDonagh hit Sami Zayn with the MITB briefcase Priest and Balor retain.

Sami Zayn also expressed that he was going through a tough time. He also thanked fans for their support throughout everything he’s been through.
