Tony Khan took to social media to express his excitement following the release of ratings figures for the December 27th edition of AEW Dynamite.

This episode featured the finals of the AEW Continental Classic Gold and Blue leagues, which determined the inaugural AEW Triple Crown Champion, among other significant moments.

After witnessing higher-than-average viewership figures for the episode, Tony Khan took a moment to thank the AEW team, both in and out of the ring, and the devoted fans who tuned in. He shared the exciting news that this episode of AEW Dynamite was the highest-rated since the Grand Slam event in September.

In tweet, Tony Khan stated, “Thank you all who watched Wednesday #AEWDynamite last night on @TBSNetwork, thank you to the @AEW team in & out of the ring. Because of you + great fans, last night was the best @AEWonTV rating since Grand Slam in September, which bodes well for #AEWWorldsEnd ppv THIS SATURDAY!”

According to Wrestlenomics, AEW Dynamite secured a viewership figure of 843,000 with a 0.31 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This impressive performance outpaced the December 25 ‘Best Of’ edition of WWE Raw, which had lower viewership due to the Christmas holiday.

With AEW’s continued success and strong fan support, the stage is set for their upcoming AEW Worlds End pay-per-view, promising an exciting future for the promotion.

What will it take for AEW Dynamite to surpass one-million viewers again? Let us know in the comments.
