Shawn Spears played a significant role in AEW’s initial phase, engaging in a feud with Cody Rhodes. He didn’t like how The American Nightmare called him “a good hand.” That was an insult to the former Tye Dillinger, who was a Perfect 10.

Following the decline of The Pinnacle, Shawn Spears found himself without a clear direction and had limited appearances on AEW television. His last wrestling match was at AEW All Out Zero Hour, and he hasn’t been featured on a Dynamite episode since May 2022.
